Depth lines make you picture the shape of the bottom. Real View shows it. Turn it on and the water is gone: every creek channel, ledge, hump and flat is lit and shaded as if the lake had been drained, with the depth numbers still showing through.
Tilt it and you are flying the lakebed. Follow an old creek channel as it swings in against a point, see where a flat breaks off into deep water, and find the hump nobody else is fishing — before you ever launch.
From contours to Real View: the point, the channel beside it, and the bottom in 3D — Richland-Chambers, Texas

The whole lake drained, then down onto the humps and ridges — Cedar Creek Lake, Texas
How to use it
Open the map layers button and switch on Real View. 3D turns on with it.
Drag with two fingers to tilt; pinch to get close to a point or channel swing.
Use the Relief slider to stretch the bottom — at 2× and up, a two-foot break stands out.
Add Submerged Structure or Wind Arrows on top to see what is down there and which bank today's wind is hitting.
