The fishery

Massive shallow lake between Lake Huron and Lake Erie. Crystal-clear water with extensive grass flats allow sight-fishing for trophy smallmouth bass. 5-6 lb fish are common in spring. Also good largemouth in backwaters and marinas. Major MLF/Bassmaster venue.
