A bite score is a single number for how hard largemouth should be feeding on a given lake at a given hour. BassHawk's runs 0 to 100 and is assembled from eight weighted factors, every one of them published research rather than folklore. Here is what goes into it and how to read one.
Eight factors, in order of how much they move the number:

| 5 | Cloud cover | Extends or collapses the low-light window. |
| 6 | Front | The only factor that can subtract heavily — post-frontal is brutal. |
| 7 | Water level | Trend, not variance. Tells you where, more than whether. |
| 8 | Solunar | Last on purpose. The evidence is the weakest on the board. |
The exact point values each factor can contribute are ours and stay in the app — publishing the weighting would be publishing the recipe. The ordering is what is useful to you anyway: it tells you which number to look at first when you are deciding whether Saturday is worth it.
The raw score is remapped so the bands feel like what they say:

| 95–100 | Prime | The days people talk about afterwards. |
It cannot tell you where. A 90 on a lake you have never fished is worth less than a 65 on water you know, because the score rates conditions, not your ability to find the fish those conditions activated.
It also cannot tell you what to throw. Two 80-point days can want completely different baits depending on whether the points came from falling pressure and wind or from a perfect water temperature in dead calm.
