Caddo Lake is a 26,800-acre natural lake (the only natural large lake in Texas) on the TX-LA border, NE of Marshall in Harrison and Marion Counties. The lake is dammed at the LA end at Mooringsport — the original natural lake was enlarged in the 1910s — and is fed by Big Cypress Bayou. It
